Be Your Healthiest This Thanksgiving

Don’t let the temptation of a Thanksgiving feast ruin your healthy diet.  Try these suggestions for a healthy Thanksgiving meal.

Tips for a Healthy Thanksgiving

1: Watch your portions. Take it easy with the carb-laden dishes such as stuffing and mashed potatoes. A serving of most carb-containing foods is: 1 small dinner roll, ½ cup mashed potatoes, ½ sweet potato, 1/3 cup stuffing

2: Make vegetables the main attraction. Fill at least ½ of your plate with vegetables. Vegetables are the most nutrient-dense food on the planet.

3: Exercise. Exercise is the only way to burn those extra calories you consumed during your Thanksgiving feast.

This year do things differently, be thankful you were able to control yourself and not overeat.
