This Year Do Things Differently…

Happy New Year! This time  of year marks a new beginning, a time in which we make  resolutions. Why is it that with each passing year we find  ourselves making the same absurd promises to ourselves? This year will be different we will actually follow through with our New Year’s resolutions. 

Resolutions  are healthy and productive, however many can be short-lived and unrealistic. Our overly
enthusiastic goals lead us to try diet after diet with rules set by someone who knows nothing about us or our medical conditions and health habits. With each Internet article we read and new diet book printed, we find ourselves increasingly more confused and frustrated.

This year, do things differently. Make an appointment with a skilled dietitian who can help you tune into your body as it relates to food and wellness. Don’t let food control you or create anxiety and stress, but instead collaborate with an expert who can enable you to set realistic goals based on your
medical condition along with your health and fitness goals.
