A Few Super Tips for Surviving Super Bowl Sunday
Pre-game workout Get yourself to the gym, go running, walking or biking-just get moving!
Grab a healthy snack Before you dash out the door to your Super Bowl party or before your guests arrive, grab a healthy snack.
• Greek yogurt with berries
• String cheese and apple slices
• Hard boiled egg and whole grain crackers
• Lowfat cottage cheese with sliced banana
Drinking Alcohol, select wisely
• Light beer-12 ounces
• Wine-5 ounces
• Hard liquior-1.5 ounces with diet soda or diet tonic
Super Bowl Sunday doesn’t have to be a food frenzy, just remember pay attention to what you are putting in your mouth. Control your portions and remember if you drink more than usual, chances are you will eat more than usual. So go root on your favorite team!
